Chocolat Noir may be a couple of pounds too high but should be thereabouts in a race like this. Denham Sound grabbed a deserved first win over hurdles at Wexford earlier this month while Little Stampy is only 3lb higher than when second in this 12 months ago. Creeping Ivy won twice on the all-weather last year but has only been placed once in 10 runs on Turf. WATER SPRITE was just beaten off a higher mark on his last run on the Flat. Placed over hurdles and fences last month, Gordon Elliott’s charge looks the one to beat today.
