Redstone Well found only one too good over this trip at Gowran three weeks ago but a 2lb rise takes him to a new career-high mark and Gavin Cromwell holds a strong hand in this. PONT AUDEMER has been in decent form over hurdles this year and won on the Flat in France, Gary Carroll’s presence in the saddle suggests he’s the stable selection ahead of the three-year-old Quick Blessing, even though the latter was only beaten half-a-length on his handicap debut at Leopardstown. A Shin Undine can’t be ignored but would have preferred an easier surface.
