CURL CAT hasn't been seen since falling over hurdles in March but providing he's over that mishap he looks remarkably well treated on his return to the Flat and is handed the vote in a tricky event. Steel Toe Cap is making good progress and made a very promising handicap debut from this mark at Leopardstown last week. He should improve again and will be difficult to keep out of the frame while Liberty's Gift has been very consistent in similar grade though keeps going up in the weights without winning. On his 55th start on the Flat, Maal has dropped to his lowest ever mark and may not be finished yet nor is Kalacan, another who is on a career low despite not running badly recently.
