Verdict

Westland Row arrives in good form having won a 2m3f maiden at Downpatrick in May though he's never been this far. Foxearth is the only distance winner in the line-up having scored at Downpatrick in May but was soon beaten when tackling three miles at Kilbeggan a month later. Winning bumper Major Destination scored over three miles at Cork so a fast pace would suit but a chance is taken on TREASURE CHEST staying the trip. Joseph O'Brien's son of Galileo, a lightly-raced stayer on the level, made a successful hurdling debut over the minimum at Kilbeggan and found the going too lively over the same trip at Gowran. Neither Riverrainshine nor Vinnie Luck can be dismissed in a tight novices' contest.
