Verdict

SKYPHOS is by Galileo and the seventh foal of a mare who has already produced five winners. He cost 260,000euros and can make a successful belated debut in a race that shouldn't take too much winning. Stablemate Drops has shown only moderate form but Dougal Philps should be winning soon though it's a surprise to see him dropping back in trip after running well over 1m4f at Leopardstown. Jpevie ran well over sprint trips as a two-year-old and made a pleasing reappearance over a mile on testing ground at Bellewstown so he should acquit himself well.
