SHERLOCK HOLMES has a superb pedigree but has taken a long time to mature into his huge frame. He made a belated debut at the Curragh a couple of weeks ago where he looked very much in need of the experience and can improve enough to take this before going on to better things. Pincode finished just in front of him that day but the positions should be reversed and Sense Of Victory looks to be a bigger threat. Johnny Murtagh's filly had little chance against the useful Variable at the Curragh last time but should be winning soon and her allowance will aid her cause. Creative Talent, Jack Blue and Ballerina Rose can all make their presence felt without troubling the selection.
