Survival is a point-to-pointer and chaser who is having his first start over hurdles and is up against two smart rivals. AMINABAD won a Listed bumper on heavy going and made a successful start in similar conditions over hurdles. He hasn't done quite as well as expected but conditions will be in his favour and he can see off the challenge of Vercingetorix. Gordon Elliott's four-year-old did well enough when beaten by the older Rae's Creek at Downpatrick though he didn't jump with any fluency and may have to settle for second once again.
