PRESENTING PERCY may have been a 50/1 chance when runner-up to the odds-on Battleford at Punchestown in January but the winner has done brilliantly subsequently, finishing a close second in the championship events at Cheltenham and Aintree. He should go one better though Gordon Elliott's Carrig Cathal went for £40,000 after a comfortable debut success between the flags at Corbeagh House in November. Leopards Leap represents Noel Meade and Nina Carberry so should be monitored for support while Two In One is a half-brother to two Flat winners so should have plenty of pace. Benefit Jewel is bred for stamina but Kate Kodiac is by a sprinter out of a 1m4f Flat winner.
