Crazywork De Vassy has never won over hurdles but looked an improved performer when scoring over fences at Down Royal in October and reverts to timber on what looks a fair mark. Speaker Connolly was well supported for a Wexford maiden last month and makes his handicap bow though he was well beaten behind PETE SO HIGH at Thurles in January. The latter couldn't handle the step-up in class at Fairyhouse last week but this is his level and he can return to winning ways. Water Sprite hasn't run since a poor effort at Kilbeggan in September but had been in good form previously and it wouldn't take much more to get involved.
