        Verdict

        VEILED APPLAUSE has looked right back to his best this year and scored a shade cosily at Ripon last time. He's effectively 1lb better off here despite his penalty with Kevin Lundie's claim taken into account and is worth sticking with. Good Boy Jackson will be winning again soon judged on his latest close-up second at Hamilton and Lucky Windmill also suggested his turn wasn't far away when runner-up at Musselburgh on his latest start. There should also be more to come from the progressive Miss Blink this year and she's not easily dismissed off her current mark.
