In depth

Verdict

Whistling Dixie, successful in a valuable Down Royal Handicap Hurdle during the winter, made a highly encouraging return on the Flat at Musselburgh recently and should make a bold bid at this level. Alpha Rose is on a longish losing sequence but is fairly treated and showed she is capable of being competitive at this level with placed efforts at Carlisle and Hamilton recently while dual all-weather winner Double Fare is another to consider along with the unexposed Collier Hill who ran promisingly last time and has further improvement to come.
