      Verdict

      Keyboard Gangster hinted at ability in a bumper here last April but is making his debut over timber after a lay-off. UNCLE ALASTAIR has to concede weight to his six rivals having won his last two starts. He’s been racing over further but the going will make this contest a test of stamina and that will suit Nicky Richards’ progressive novice. Bulkov’s second at Sedgefield last time received a boost when the winner went in again at that track on Sunday and he has a chance against the selection at the weights but Saint Freule appears to be going backwards and Eagle Ridge tackles hurdles for the first time.
