    Verdict

A field of newcomers but Richard Johnson’s presence on Dunkereen takes the eye. Hangard and Ulsterman are related to winners and the latter is preferred to stablemate Cyprus Avenue while Le Gavroche is the first foal of a winner over hurdles and makes more appeal than Run Rocky Run. But Nicky Richards has an impressive strike rate in bumpers at the track and KARAMOKO, a half-brother to winners on the Flat, gets a speculative vote to make a winning start.
