        Verdict

        None of these inspire confidence so RUST gets only a speculative vote. He won at Catterick back in July and was beaten only a length at Hamilton last time off today's mark. Berbice finished a couple of lengths ahead of Pitt Rivers when runner-up over 6f at Hamilton last week and Rioja Day finished a bit closer at the same meeting having slipped down the weights. Handicap debutante Llandanwg may prove best of the rest.
