        Verdict

        Something went amiss with previous maiden winner Rock Canyon when tailed off in much better company last time and SUNNY SIDE UP was also below par at Beverley last time. Soft ground looks a legimate excuse for Richard Fahey's Wolverhampton winner, however, and she gets another chance on today's faster surface. Schmooze raced in higher grade handicaps than this after scoring at Yarmouth last term and may figure on her return to action while Brunswick Vale posted a better effort in a Beverley seller last time but more is needed here.
