Verdict

IMPULSIVE AMERICAN’s below-par effort in a chase at Perth last month may have come too soon after winning on the Flat here just six days earlier. He’d won both starts over fences before that and should make another bold bid in this. Special Catch has very chance on his second at Chepstow in May having won over track and trip earlier while Indian Voyage posted a better effort at Wetherby recently and could also figure. Trust Thomas was well behind the latter at Wetherby but that was his first start since May and he rattled up three wins over fences early this year.
