      Verdict

      An interesting maiden gets proceedings underway and the market will be very informitive but the principals look to be Thornylee, My Secrets and Exit Strategy and the narrow vote is given to Thornylee. The selection is a well bred colt by Selkirk so he should handle the cut in the ground, hails from a yard in top form and he will not need to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. My Secrets rates the main danger on his latest third behind Mudos Magic but he looks the stable's second string on jockey bookings and is passed over with this in mind. Exit Strategy was noted staying on well behind Truly Royal on her debut is to have learnt from the experiance and has definite place claims. Of the remainder Bayonyx will be handicaped after this run and may be one to follow in that sphere when stepped up in trip. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Thornylee.
