Yorkshire Blue is an old hand on this stage and can play the leading role once more given luck in running. Obe One is nicely weighted and will be a big threat, while Almost Married and Imperial Sword are closely matched and are also capable of being on the premises if they run up to form. The last named has been banging on the door of late and may be able to turn around the from with Almost Married on 3lb better terms than the last time they encountered each other on the racecourse. Obe One has possibly the worst strike-rate of any horse still in training at his age, as his losing streak stretches back almost five years to the day. Still, he still retains enthusiasm and, having gone very close last time out, he cannot be ruled out in this company. However, Yorkshire Blue is a touch more reliable and, as he is 8lb below his last winning mark, the Jim Goldie-trained veteran can come out on top in this battle of the ages.
