In depth

Verdict

Most have been racing at Newcastle with Pearl Of Qatar going close the last twice. But she hasn’t won on Turf since making a winning debut back in 2018 while Gleniffer’s best efforts so far have been over 5f on the all-weather. Nubough and Captain Jameson return to action looking to end long losing runs but DICK DATCHERY (NAP) is back on the same mark as when scoring over course and distance last summer. A recent good effort at Thirsk points to a big run here and David O’Meara’s charge gets the vote.
