Verdict

Sedgefield winner Judicial Review was only fourth under a penalty at Carlisle and Lucky Soldier was beaten more than 15 lengths behind Esprit Du Potier on his second start at Ayr. The latter will make a bold bid to defy his penalty but there are a few interesting newcomers in this. President Scottie is a half-brother to two bumper winners but I AM NO RISK is a half-brother to three winners and cost £85,000 as a three-year-old. Talented amateur James King has travelled up for the one ride. Giacosa is also worth a second look while Bluebell Glen and Slugger are likely improvers.
