SUMMA PETO, beaten narrowly in his opening two runs on this track, couldn't handle the step up to Listed company at Ascot but, though returning from a long break, looks the one to beat. Water Iris made a very encouraging debut at Newcastle and started a short-priced favourite when runner-up at Chelmsford in December with the remainder well beaten, though the form hasn't worked out. Tadreeb, a half-brother to three winners, never got involved in his opening run at Lingfield but stayed on nicely and looks certain to make progress. Tampa is a half-brother to a two-year-old winner and out of a winning juvenile so is definitely one to keep on the right side.
