In depth

Verdict

Few make any appeal and SAUCE OF LIFE may prove good enough despite returning from an absence. A dual bumper winner, Nicky Richards’ charge makes his hurdling debut but is preferred to Ugo Du Misselot. The latter has placed over timber and returns to action fitted with a tongue-tie having undergone wind surgery while Operation Overlord has also had a wind operation and may finish closer. Gentleman De Mai debuts under Rules having finished runner-up in a point-to-point.
