In depth

Verdict

Jimmy's Jet is penalised for his victory in this race a year ago and broke a blood vessel on his latest run at Perth in April. MAGIC WAVE followed a very encouraging debut at Doncaster in March by a head defeat here a month later and should be good enough if ready after a break. Diablo Loch was a 66/1 chance when staying on strongly into second at Perth while The Kalooki Kid cost €40,000 and has a smart jumping pedigree. Gavin Cromwell wouldn't be sending Whats The Solution from Ireland without hope and he ran better than his finishing position suggests at Galway while Stuart Crawford's Royal Tale looked in need of experience at Punchestown back in April but should be ready for this.
