PROUD TIMES looks very interesting here following a promising fourth over C&D on his hurdling debut. Alan Swinbank's five-year-old, a dual all-weather winner on the level, will appreciate today's softer surface and has more scope than Flinty Bay. The latter has been placed in all four starts over timber but his latest second at Market Rasen confirmed he lacks an extra gear. The Galloping Shoe won twice on the Flat and was beaten less than six lengths when fourth in a decent novice event at Kelso last week. But his stable could be in better form while Toledo Gold gives the impression his stamina is stretched over this trip. Arran Law has been off for a while but is arguably the pick of the remainder.
