        Verdict

        Lincoln makes the journey to Scotland again having won over 5f here last season. He ran well at York last time and is dropped in class along with another making the long trek north, SCORCHING HEAT. Andrew Balding’s Salisbury winner has finished runner-up in both subsequent outings, including a Class 2 sprint at Newmarket last time, and may prove good enough. Handsome Dude won in soft ground at Haydock recently and it was also testing going when Dragon King scored at Chester. Harwoods Volante hails from last year’s winning yard and could go well.
