It could be worth taking a chance here on Declan Carroll's Reddy Ronnie; Lady Valentino and Chin Wag appeal most of the others. The selection is lightly-raced and he was only beaten a head on his seasonal reappearance at Carlisle when he was collared on the line by Boy Dancer. He has everything in his favour today and he should strip fitter for his recent run so he can go well. Lady Valentino is another lightly-raced type and this filly was only narrowly beaten last time at Ayr. She is in good form but this slight drop in trip is not sure to suit as she has been racing over further with great credit this season and we will take her on. Chin Wag ran well over this distance last time when he was third behind Hula Ballew, but he is actually better over a slightly shorter trip. Time To Regret and Ensign's Trick may need some assistance from the handicapper before they are able to get competitive, and Reddy Ronnie is put forward as our pick.
