This looks a bit more competitive than the races that Danimix has won recently. Buddy Bolero was fourth at Cheltenham when Hawkes Point was pulled up and should be thereabouts again while The Druids Nephew and Johns Spirit are closely matched on their run together at The Festival. No Planning arrives off the back of a win at Kelso but the jury is out as to whether he stays this far and SYDNEY PAGET will ensure a strong gallop. We're prepared to give Donald McCain's charge another chance as he was probably ridden too aggressively over a shorter trip at Haydock last time. Suited by soft ground, he may take some pegging back on this flat track.
The Druids Nephew (IRE) 5-1 (11-7) Pressed leader, not fluent 6th, led 9th, ridden and headed when hit 2 out, not much room last, one pace flat, 6th of 20, 15l behind Rajdhani Express (11-7) at Cheltenham 2m 4f Listed Novice Handicap Chase (0-140) (5yo+) (1) sft in Mar.
