Divers was withdrawn on account of the soft ground at Cheltenham on Wednesday and connections will be casting an anxious eye towards the heavens. He's still in better form than stablemate De Boitron, who was soon toiling at Aintree last week though the latter could do better now upped in trip. Torphichen ran a fine race back over fences at Haydock when runner-up to Auroras Encore but again gave the impression this trip stretches his stamina and it would be no surprise if close-up third GANSEY reversed the form here on 1lb better terms. Sue Smith's 10-year-old is well handicapped at present. The handicapper appears to have The Panama Kid in his grip, however, while The Knoxs still has a bit to prove over fences and Woody Waller usually finds at least one too good. I Hear A Symphony can't be ignored after his fourth at Navan but isn't one to rely on.
