In depth
Formwatch
Razer Blade looks the likely winner in a very hot race. Nicky Henderson's charge has run some cracking races in defeat this season following a winning debut over hurdles at Kempton in November. The dangers in an event that should throw up one or two future stars include the front-running Patriarch, along with Southern Star, who comes here on a hat-trick after gaining victories at Wincanton and Huntingdon. Spring Margot remains a decent chasing prospect for Venetia Williams but may find the ground on the fast side, while Telemoss is another improving sort.
