Verdict

Mister Universe went close over 7f at Newbury last time but has something to prove over today's trip while Ingleby Angel is upped in class off a higher mark after scoring at Carlisle. Instant Attraction has claims on his second in this grade at Ripon last month but another chance goes to MUTASAYYID. The latter has been thereabouts since making a winning return at Newmarket and was beaten less than a length off today's mark at the same venue last time. Melvin The Grate finished ahead of Fort Bastion when fourth at York and should be in the mix along with Gabrial's Kaka, who has slipped down the weights, while Don't Call Me won this in 2011 and is also back on a winning mark.
