The renewal of the Silver Cup is competitive as ever but with trainers this week seemingly to be favouring a high draw we'll give a marginal verdict to Richard Fahey's MISTER HARDY, who is also now racing off a competitive mark, ahead of in-form My Gacho while we also expect Prescription to mount a strong challenge. After landing a hat-trick of victories earlier in the season the selection seemed to have struggled under high-looking burdens since. Although it is a concern that he has only scored once over this trip, he handles the ground and is now off a four pounds lower mark than of late. My Gacho will complete a five timer here if getting home in front. Mark Johnston's charge scored under a similar weight last time, however, the ground might not be in his favour. Prescription is one of the least exposed in the field and put in a really good effort when second best under a penalty last time. He is unexposed and could improve again. Johannes looks drawn for a bold bid but maybe a little high in the weights so in the cavalry charge we think Mister Hardy might just steal it.
