        Verdict

        Arranmore has won two of his last three outings but was second to Flying Moon over track and trip in between those victories. The latter has been beaten over a longer distance subsequently while Merricourt is penalised for winning a lower grade contest here a week ago. Tilsitt went close when third over 7f at the track but it could pay to stick with TOMMY G (NAP) in his current form. Jim Goldie’s charge notched-up a hat-trick of course wins before placing at Musselburgh and should be bang there at the finish back at this venue.
