Verdict

Dreams Of Milan had no problem justifying short odds here in February and there is scope for further improvement. Seymour Eric rattled up a four-timer before finishing third in decent company over a trip too short at Haydock and is proven on heavy ground. He shouldn't be far away but Herdsman has a bit to prove after failing in his hat-trick bid at Bangor. WALKABOUT CREEK was always travelling like a winner when beating Phase Shift over 2m4f on heavy going at Sedgefield four weeks ago and the runner-up has franked the form since. The step up to 3m shouldn't be a problem and Steve Gollings' charge looks the one to beat with Talkin Sence and Spirit of A Nation likely to struggle in this grade.
