Verdict

Apostle will be many people's idea of the winner as he's started favourite in two of his three starts to date and was only beaten a length-and-a-quarter when runner-up at York on his latest start. HOLY ROMAN WARRIOR probably has more scope, however, and can go one better than when second over track and trip on his debut last month when Letsgoroundagain, who'd had the benefit of a previous run, was back in third. Tight Lipped is improving with experience and the Haydock runner-up should prove the pick of the remainder, though newcomer Thirkleby is worth watching for future reference.
