    Verdict

Sweet Royale is the one to beat here with Chilali and Space Maker put forward as the most likely dangers. The selection made a really pleasing racecourse debut when finishing second behind Polly Perkins at Musselburgh last time. The winner of that contest has gone on to frank the form and it would be a surprise to us if Sweet Royale was not able to lose her maiden tag here. Space Maker rates the main danger as he overcame a slow start to finish fourth behind Happy Event at Windsor last month. This colt has got to be of interest but he is dropped in trip here and that may just be his undoing as he looked as though he might appreciate slightly further last time. Chilali has shown plenty of promise on her three starts to date and it would be no surprise to see her go well, but she will need to improve again to take this. High Minded is from a yard in good form and after being slowly away on his debut at Ripon he could be capable of better here, but for the winner we return to Sweet Royale.
