In depth

Verdict

STARCHITECT is a very smart winning hurdler who has been regularly placed in top handicaps. A last-fence blunder didn't aid his cause on his chasing debut at Bangor and though disappointing at Plumpton subsequently he should still prove better than that. Clan Legend made all and jumped superbly to make a successful chasing debut on heavy going at Hexham, though he's having to concede weight to better opposition here. Dual bumper and hurdles winner Aminabad hasn't done as well so far over fences and fellow raider Kings Bandit, three times a winner over timber when trained in the UK, might prove more of a threat though he ran poorly when tried over fences in 2015. Takingrisks did well over hurdles and is definitely the type to do better over the bigger obstacles when he gets his jumping together.
