In depth

Verdict

A disappointing turnout given the entry at the five-day stage and this could give an opportunity to All Nonsilver to put forward his credentials as a chaser to follow this term. Martin Todhunter's charge could not have been any more impressive in his demolition of Glenfarclas Boy at the track in February and if he is fit enough to do himself justice, there is every chance he could take first prize today. Behavingbadly has the tendency to hit the odd fence or two but these races are ideal for him. He appears to produce his better form in smaller fields and any further rain would not go amiss. Interdit was a decisive winner over 3m4f at Kelso earlier in the week. Connections are understandably keen to strike again before the handicapper reassesses him. He will probably front run but is vulnerable to anything with finishing speed. Solway Rose's best form is on heavier ground while Under Wraps seems to have lost his way since leaving Jonjo O'Neill's stable. We will side with the progressive All Nonsilver to land the prize on this occasion.
