Verdict

Another staying test to complete proceedings. Arctic Court was second in this last year when 5lb higher and the veteran returned to winning ways at Musselburgh in January. Some Are Lucky has shown gradual improvement and easily won a maiden at Southwell last month. Ceann Sibheal appears to have bags of stamina and has won his last two, though a 15lb hike in the weights has done him no favours. Richie McLernon defied a slipping saddle to steer GENERAL MAHLER to victory over 2m4f at Sedgefield last month. The front two pulled well clear in the closing stages so the form is probably decent. Marlee Massie was foiled in his bid for a five-timer at Kelso at the start of the month and may now be too high in the weights.
