Verdict

River Frost has been well beaten in all three outings over fences so far and Manetti made mistakes over track and trip on his chasing bow. The latter should improve for that experience while maiden hurdle winner Article Fifty has switched yards but today’s ground looks a worry for him. Arctic Road was pulled up on his reappearance and goes chasing for the first time along with the returning LORD SPRINGFIELD. The latter has placed over timber and undergone wind surgery since last in action and, with today’s larger obstacles expected to suit Donald McCain’s point-to-point winner, he gets the vote.
