Le Chat D'or won over track and trip in July but has struggled in softer ground either side of that while Candelisa’s recent success came in a seller at Redcar. But Newmarket Warrior went close on the all-weather at Newcastle last time and Dark Devil has hit top form and won in testing ground at Chester last month. He’s just preferred to stablemate and Newmarket runner-up Prying Pandora but it could pay to stick with JAY KAY. The latter is penalised for winning over course and distance last week but drops down a grade and will handle the underfoot conditions.
