In depth

Verdict

Miss Bamby looked slightly fortunate when scoring at Hereford as she was three lengths behind when the leader fell at the last. John Mackie’s mare has been left on a similar mark but PURE SURF is preferred. The latter wasn’t beaten that far in a Class 2 hurdle at Musselburgh on her second start after wind surgery and can return to winning ways. Racks Cross posted a better effort here on her handicap debut but novice hurdle winner Aazza disappointed at Musselburgh last time.
