In depth

Verdict

Blow By Blow was second over track and trip in the autumn and has dropped 2lb in the ratings since. Fellow veteran Better Getalong won in this grade at Carlisle 12 days ago and Conor Rabbitt takes off 10lb again, though he has gone up 6lb. NED TANNER (NAP) is possibly better over further but did beat a useful sort at Kelso two runs ago and travelled strongly for a long way on heavy going here next time. Having only his fifth run over timber, Nick Alexander’s six-year-old gets the nod as Lord Roco has only won a maiden so far.
