Calivigny won a maiden hurdle over 2m4f here last time and should go well again. But QUEL ELITE found only one too good in a handicap at Hexham on his latest start and the James Moffatt runner may edge this. Bescot Springs won over hurdles at Hexham last month and reverts to the smaller obstacles after failing to figure in a chase at Kelso while Hapenny Woods ran well at the same track recently when fourth to Oscar Blue and makes more appeal than Finaghy Ayr, well beaten when placed over these hurdles last time.
