Plutocrat hardly convinced with his jumping first time out over fences at Catterick but is worth another chance in such lowly company where the main dangers look to be Kidithou and Sea Ferry. The last mentioned showed only a modicum of his hurdling ability on his chasing debut over course and distance last month and would need to improve to trouble the judge, while Goodbadindiferent tends to live up to his name. Neither Hollow Flight nor The Sleeper has shown enough to suggest that they can play a part and of more interest is Kidithou who will find this more his level having been pitched in against Ollie Magern at Wetherby last time. The vote though has to go Plutocrat. Len Lugo's gelding was easily the best of these over hurdles and, provided that his jumping holds out, the nine-year-old should be too classy for his rivals.
