One For Arthur has always looked like a stayer so he did well to see off the odds-on Subtle Grey over 2m4f at Haydock where the testing conditions played to his strengths. He seems on a high enough mark but Gilnockie should be capable of going well off 115 after he stayed on well on his first attempt over 2m4f at Newcastle. Teddy Tee didn't have too much to do to land a course and distance handicap last month and the assessor could have overreacted with a 12lb higher mark but TURTLE CASK benefited from a positive James Reveley ride at Sedgefield and is taken to make all with just 6lb more to contend with.
