In depth

Verdict

Dakota Moirette outran huge odds when a close third at Doncaster. That was his first run for new connections and a change of scenery may have revived his career. But HASANKEY was always travelling best at Fontwell two weeks ago and the penny may have dropped with Laura Morgan’s six-year-old, who will again be partnered by 10lb claimer Lewis Dobb. Heartbreak Kid has been dropped a further pound despite doing little wrong so far this season but Crack Du Ninian was beaten off this mark here last week when chasing a hat-trick. Democratic Oath needs improvement on a third at Kelso but that should be forthcoming.
