      Verdict

      A small field for an early-season nursery. Richard Fahey won the opening nursery of the season at Haydock on Friday and fields Latenightrequest here, who was just over three lengths behind Atlantic Affair at Beverley staying on steadily in the latter stages. Now clashing in handicap company, the Fahey charge is 10lb better off and it would not surprise to see her reverse placings. Angel Rosa looked useful when outpointing Mictd on debut at Hamilton in late May and should progress from that promising performance. But another to create a good impression first time up was HOMESTRETCH when coming late to land a Windsor maiden from some fair sorts. The Holy Roman Emperor colt looks an interesting project for Mick Channon to work with and is taken to score.
