In depth

Verdict

ALWAYS RIGHT won in testing conditions at Kelso last March and went close behind Or De Grugy at the same track on his reappearance in October. With plenty of scope for improvement and Graham Lee on board, John Wade's charge gets the vote in an open contest. Sibenek won at Carlisle in November and there isn't much between him and the runner-up Et Maintenant here, while Pak Jack and Categorical were both placed on their latest starts and should also go well. Heez A Steel is another to consider having run well on his recent reappearance.
