        Verdict

        Haymarket bids to repeat last year’s win in this but arrives badly out of form. Henpecked won in soft ground at Hamilton last month and should go well again while Onda District was placed at Haydock three weeks ago and is another to consider off his current mark. But CARNAGEO (NAP) has been competing in tougher handicaps than this and Richard Fahey’s charge may come out best having finished third at Ripon last time. Khabaray is another facing an easier task today and could also be thereabouts at the finish.
