Verdict

SELECTED was thought good enough to take his chance in the Windsor Castle at Ascot last month. He was staying on in the closing stages without ever looking a threat and this longer trip should suit so he gets the vote back at this level. Captain Magnum and Sibaaq look likely improvers on the back of recent debut efforts with jockey bookings suggesting the latter is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Twilight Lucy while Seven Brothers is related to a winning two-year-old in France.
